Tenor Pablo Romero will perform in recital, "Immigrant Voices: A musical journey to the New World" a selection of classical pieces from italian romanticism, latin american composers, Zarzuela, American Art Song and Broadway Selections at the Magnolia Music Studio. Accompanying him at the piano is Zoe Ann Nishimuta.
Each group of selections forms part of a journey that is detailed in excerpts from letters by immigrants of various nationalities between the years 1773-1986.
The program itself is free to the public at no entrance cost.
